TagMyPet — Smart NFC Tags for Pets
I designed a smart identification system for pets combining physical product and digital platform, facilitating lost animal recovery and access to vital information in real-time.
The Challenge
Traditional tags with just a phone number are insufficient: they don't provide medical information, don't allow real-time interaction, and don't help in situations where the owner is far away or can't respond. They also don't inform about behaviors, allergies, or special needs of the animal.
The Solution
I adapted the SuiTags concept to the pet context, creating NFC tags that redirect to a digital profile of the animal. It displays key information such as medical data, vaccines, allergies, behavior, reference shelters, and owner contact details. The system allows direct communication between whoever finds the animal and its owner, as well as real-time updates.
